No Loitering - SOLD

No Loitering location is The Cannery at Del Monte Square in San Francisco, CA. The shadows stopped me dead. I knew I had to capture this shot the moment I saw it. This piece has painted sides which enables the viewer to appreciate the experience from every angle. It is ready to hang. I might call this painterly realism as well.

$325.00, 0il on board, 16 x 12 x 1, painted sides, ready to hang.

Super Mom - SOLD

The title for this painting seems so appropriate to me.  "Super Mom".  Faster than a speeding child, more powerful than a martini, able to leap children's toys in a single bound...sounds about right.

We took the ferry heading to Fisherman's Wharf.  Arriving, we found a very large and cool marketplace with tons of wonderful deserts, great food and all kinds of other things to tease the shopper.  We decided to  breeze through & hang here on the way back.  We stopped to have an amazing french desert first cause I HAD to.  It's then that I noticed this Mom as her little one darted off like a  speeding bullet and I immediately thought - Super Mom.  Thus the title for this fun piece...  yeah for Moms!

Sisters - SOLD

My good friend & photographer Claudia Ward, Open Window blog, has once again done her magic with these little ones.  These sweet sisters remind me of sketches from vintage children's stories. One can only guess the adventure of two young girls heading off to feed some birds or ducks in a pond in this beautiful autumnal setting.

Beach Trail - SOLD

I really want to be there right now.  Just thinking about the cool breezes flowing up the sides of the cliffs as I'm hiking my way down to the beach helps me relax and go to the ah moments.  Well, if I can't make it to the beach right now, I can at least go there visually in my imagination!

Headin Down the Highway - SOLD

A couple of bikers (bicycles that is) heading down the highway in Ventura on the weekend.  Great weather to ride.  I really enjoy the space in this composition.  Gave the bikers some road to travel, wonder where there heading - (song) obviously 'lookin for adventure.'

Reflections - SOLD

I could not stop saying Jonathan Livingston Seagull when I looked at this guy.  He seems to have a definite destination in mind.  Probably saw some other gulls eating away and didn't want to miss out on anything.

A Day at the Beach - Commission - SOLD

This guy truly hit home with me and I have two girls...  I don't know 'how' to do boys, but I just love-e-e this piece.  I even have it as my screensaver, who knew?  He painted himself, came off the brush like he didn't need me at all.  Oh those kids...
