I've just added a new piece of work to my brand new Etsy store titled "Beached". It's a beach (ha) scene of a beached boat in a moorish type of setting. I like how this painting turned out. I like the colors, etc basically I think I nailed it, but hey that's how it's got to be. I have to paint for me or as David Leffel would say regarding motivation. "Beauty... the fun of trying to get it down... the fun of trying to get better." I hope you agree! Btw, please visit my shop when you have time.
Wow Barbara, this painting is not only beautifully composed, but I love the way you responded to the scene with expressive brush strokes. It has a wonderful color harmony as well.
