Fly Away Kite


I guess it's quite apparent that I need a water fix.  It's been quite awhile since I've been to a beach.  So if I can't get to the beach, the beach can come to me.  Soon!


As for the title, you've heard of a run away car, etc.  Well this kite was flying so high, that it wasn't even in the shot.  Thus Fly Away Kite.

    This kite painting just sings to me. I can feel the breeze and hear the laughter. The figures show wonderful action and I love the way you indicated the kite string. I also like the thick swirls of paint on their hats, creating a straw hat effect. The colors, cropping and composition are all excellent!
