My good friend & photographer Claudia Ward, Open Window blog, has once again done her magic with these little ones. These sweet sisters remind me of sketches from vintage children's stories. One can only guess the adventure of two young girls heading off to feed some birds or ducks in a pond in this beautiful autumnal setting.

This painting is a sensory feast... so crisp I can almost hear the leaves crunch as the sisters walk side-by-side... feel the coolness in the Autumn air... hear the girls chatting quietly about sister stuff. I hope this one finds its way to a special sisterly place.
