Some of the greatest sunsets and sunrises ever come out of California. They grab your attention. It just takes a moment to stop our busy lives and enjoy the fleeting color no matter where you are. I'm really enjoying for this one. Hope you do too.
I love the way you conveyed the clouds. Very atmospheric! and the wires add an interesting abstract pattern.

ReplyDeleteThe deeper values in the sky are very effective! I love the sunsets of the West and miss them. I also like the massing of buildings, lights, and wires on the left side of the canvas. These shapes and line work add an interesting balance to the sky.
ReplyDeleteI love sunsets and sun rises, so many colors... and each one different. This one is very nice Barb... with the sky and its colors upward and the buildings with their interesting design below, and the electrical lines separating the two, it really does make for a great piece. And everytime I look at it, and I am compelled to look again and again... I see something new! Good art is very much alive, isn't it?
